I was born in Hamilton, Ontario in 1946 and raised in nearby Burlington.
I attended Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology and York University in Toronto, studying English, Philosophy, and Arts.
My wife and I have lived in Vancouver for many years and continue to explore the beauty of the coast through frequent hikes and adventures.
Although my subjects are universal (I've painted in many countries), the portrayals of Canada are pre-eminent. My best known work focuses on the West Coast of British Columbia and the Haliburton Highlands of Ontario.
My current passion is plein air painting.
